If you have been playing Diablo 3, if almost a gauranteed bet that you have been plagues by the errors the game has been giving out to players. The errors do not actually tell you what the problem is, they only give a number. In Diablo 3 Error 21 and Diablo 3 Error 12 and caused due to the same reason.
Players report that they have leveled characters and when they login another time, the character are missing. The character are not gone, they are still there ! This is all being caused by the game’s region servers.
How to Fix Diablo 3 Error 12 and Character gone problem
We know that this is due to the game setting the wrong region for your client. The solution is very simple. Open the option tab in game, head to the account section. Now under the Server Region Selection, set it to the correct one. If you character is missing it is because you are playing on a different region than you were before. Change the region and login, the character should be there.
Error 21 is caused when region is set wrong and when Global Play is disabled.
Note:- It is important that you choose the right region where the real money auction house is enabled for your country. If you play on other regions, you will not be able to use this feature. For me, even though I am in India and EU times are better to play, I have to play on US because that is where the AH is enabled for us.
