I’m kind a skeptical about free software. I’m using the defrag tool of Windows and I’m happy with it.

@Alfred O&O does have a free version; although, I don’t think it is fully featured. I wouldn’t pay for one myself!

Interesting, thanks for the info. I like that you can run the defrag on the start-up that will make things a lot easier.

hmmm both the software mentioned above are paid !
why would you want to spend money on stuff that can be done for free…

This blog tries to give its readers freeware or opensource as much as possible, so I wouldn’t recommend spending money on software to defrag a comp just ain’t worth it.

I like Diskeeper the best for defrag. It’s so easy to use lol…just install it and turn it to ‘auto’. The best part is, it also defrags system files and other metadata, even in low space. Since putting Diskeeper 2009 on my system, I’ve never had to defrag anything, ever…all my 4 drives show nearly zero fragmentation whenever I check

I find O&O Defrag to be the best Defrag app out there
