Download Firefox 3.5
The latest version of Firefox has been released and is available for download. Firefox 3.5 brings a much more powerful engine than its predecessor along with a host of new improvements.
Installing Firefox 3.5 will overwrite your existing installation of Firefox. You won’t lose any of your bookmarks or browsing history, but some of your extensions and other add-ons might not work until updates for them are made available. You can reinstall an older version later if you wish to downgrade.
It also features the TraceMonkey Javascript engine which is twice as fast as the existing version (3.0.11). The new version also support HTML 5 audio and video support. A list of performance improvements can be found on the Under The Hood page as well as a list of tips.

How is this version compared to Minefield in terms of performance?

Personally I think the new version is faster when loading sites that are heavy on media, though sometimes I feel that the new version takes longer to startup for the first time after bootup.
The new Firefox is great – I’m a Mac user and I use it over the new Safari every time!

So frustrated that my add-ons are yet to be upgraded to be compatible with 3.5. Guess I’m stuck with 3.0.10 till they upgrade the add ons.
Yes! i am agree..this version with the taskmonkey and the speed is the best upgrade today! Downloading right now !!
im using the 3.5 version and i agree, its a little faster but it has change many things..im just starting to get use to it..
