if you look at your stats on the day the feed counts are low, you may notice that it’s only counting email subscribers and not RSS. I have had this happen a few times, and I believe it to be a glitch in Feedburner.

Let me know if you notice the same trend when you review the “low” days.

I take my FeedBurner #s with a grain of salt, although they are pretty low right now, since I’m new, but Feedburner will always fluctate under it’s current technology. This is unless every RSS reader sets a standard.
