Solo Flight – Cessna 150
Some of the old readers would know that I am currently studying to become a pilot in the Philippines. This has kept me pretty busy & I find myself struggling to get time for myself.
Well all the hard work seems to have finally paid off ! On Nov 1, 2008 I finally got my first solo flight. I was pretty nervous going up alone but once I started the engine, everything seemed so easy. This flight was also the first time the school had released a student for solo (I am in the school’s first batch).
Even though its a tech blog, it still my personal blog as well. So, here are some pictures and a video.

Congratulations! Solo flight! I know how special that is. Hard to describe to land-based people. How long did it take for the butterflies in your stomach to go away– or do you still get them just thinking about it?
