Tokbox.com – Free Video Chat

I have a sister, who is studying in Singapore and I video chat with her on MSN most of the time. Sometimes MSN video chat service refuses to establish a connection. So, here’s a workaround for it.

Tokbox is a free service that lets you talk with your friends over live video chat for free. The best thing about Tokbox is that there is no software to download. Just signup with Tokbox to get a link that you can send to your friends when you need to video chat.

Tokbox can also be added to social networking sites like Facebook and blogs. Privacy settings gives you control on who can see you and who can’t.

Tokbox Sample

The Video and Sound quality was pretty good, worth a try if you want free video chat without downloading any software.

It’s important to remember that having a stable and reliable high speed internet connection is necessary to establish and maintain video conferencing. Using a high-speed internet connection is preferable that way the experience not only workable but also enjoyable.
