Firestats.com – Best statistics system for WordPress

FirestatsI have been trying many stat counters for my blogs. Hitstats, Statcounter, Google Analytics and Feedburner Stats Pro to name a few. Recently I Stumbled upon Firestats. Since then, I’ve lost my hobby of looking for new stat counters.

FireStats is a web statistics system developed by Omry Yadan. It is an excellent stats plugin for WordPress and other self-hosted systems. Able to show deatiled informations about who’s visited, referrals, search engine terms, countries, browsers and popular pages on your blog. My blog shows the User Statistics (right sidebar, last widget) using Firestats.

Firestats seems to be the most accurate among all the statistics systems available, allowing you to monitor your website traffic in realtime if need be.

The support for Firestats is just amazing !!! Lets see, Ive opened two tickets so far and they were replied by Omry in a few hours. He really deserves a beer! :-D Firestats is free to use for non-commercial use and 25$ for commercial use.

Moving on to the feature list here is the extract from their site.

    I have noticed that online diploma is getting popular because attaining your degree online has changed into a popular alternative for many people. Quite a few people have certainly not had an opportunity to attend an established college or university nonetheless seek the increased earning possibilities and a better job that a Bachelor’s Degree gives you. Still others might have a diploma in one discipline but would like to pursue something they now develop an interest in.

    the stats in firestats in stored in the mysql database so if you still have the old database it is possible to get the data back to your new installation.

    for more help regarding the same, i recommend your contact Omry at firestats support, hes always kind enough to answer questions..

    hey, i love firestats too!

    so much in fact i was wondering if it is possible to add the old stats from the former wordpress which had this as a plugin too. i reinstalled wordpress and reinstalled firestats but it doest contain all the old stats from the past year… dang….

    anyone who can help me with this deserves a beer :)

    Hey Mike,
    You can open a ticket on firestats.cc
    Omry (the guy behind firestats) replies to tickets made for support. I remember him sending me some php code for it, but unfortunately dont have it with me now.

    Btw I really liked your blogs design, really nice.

    I totally agree. Firestats is awesome.

    But how do you get the stats on your sidebar? My theme doesn’t support widgets and I have no idea what the code is to get the stats.

    How would I go about finding out what the code is to get individual stats?

    P.S. I really like your blog! Mind if I add you to my blogroll?
